The company has 24 buildings in various regions of Hungary, with its center located in Budapest. In each building, there is a technician who is responsible for the condition of that building and its equipment’s. The purpose of the project was to create a building register in one central database and consolidate all the assets in the system, to provide a helpdesk available to all employees, and to be able to manage energy and maintenance cost by each site.
We have surveyed all 24 buildings of over 20,000 sqm, including all HVAC equipment. We created their ArchiCAD models which we imported into ArchiFM. Besides the ArchiCAD imports, we used ArchiFM’s excel import functionality to feed in all the non-building-related data, such as personnel, subcontractors, partners, maintenance jobs, service areas, and cost centers. With all this information accurately populated in the system, we launched our helpdesk functionality made available to all employees.
